The Visitor Center is a public facility dependent on the Junta de Andalucía and located just 1 km from the center of Laujar de Andarax. Al-Mihras returns to manage the Center since July 2022 and is also the company in charge of carrying out the various activities and programs that take place in it.
The visitor can find general information about the National Park and Natural Park of Sierra Nevada and the surrounding villages and detailed and updated information about the routes and trails. In addition, we share information about the cultural heritage of the municipalities, their museums, palatial houses, and other places of interest.
In addition, we carry out various programs for visitors, schools and groups of people with functional diversity. The purpose of these programs is to bring nature and the richness of the Sierra Nevada closer to its visitors.
Some of these programs are partially or fully funded by the environmental administration of the Junta de Andalucía.
