The delegate of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy, Manuel de la Torre, accompanied by the director of the National Park and Natural Park of Sierra Nevada, Francisco Muñoz, have presided over the ceremony, held at the Government Delegation of Almeria, in which 4 companies in the province linked to responsible tourism development have renewed their certificate with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS). A distinction that recognizes the efforts of these entities in the socio-economic development of the territory, in addition to distinguishing the work of education and awareness that visitors and their contribution to the conservation of the heritage of Sierra Nevada.
The Almerian companies that have joined the CETS are "La Posada del Tío Peroles", located in the municipality of Abla, Almirez de Hostelería, and Al-Mirhas turismo activo, in Laujar de Andarax, and La Casa de Gloria, in Bayárcal.
