The 8 trails of the Lagunas de Ruidera

The Lagunas de Ruidera are a unique natural space and one of the most beautiful wetlands in Europe, an authentic visual spectacle formed by 16 lagoons along 25 kilometers. The first springs emanate in the Blanca lagoon and the waters reach the lower lagoons and the Peñarroya reservoir. The turquoise waters of the lagoons -linked by beautiful waterfalls and streams- are embedded in a spectacular landscape that contains a great wealth of fauna.

As a starting point, the best approach is to approach the Visitor Center located in Ruidera, where we will find all the information about the lagoons.

Within the natural park there are several routes and itineraries for hiking and trekking or for mountain biking. These routes, of varying difficulty and length, are properly signposted.
